Membrane Systems

 

A full spectrum of membrane filtration systems are available for removal of dissolved organics and turbitity. Pressurized water passes onto a membrane, resulting in a concentrate and permeate. Our designs allow continuous removal of contaminants while minimizing fouling and operating for long periods for cleaning.

Membrane systems can be chosen to meet specific needs:

  • Nanofiltration for softening applications and removal of nitrates, THM precursors, and dissolved organics
  • Reverse Osmosis for desalination and removal of nitrates, chloride and other inorganic compounds
  • Ultrafiltration for a pressure-driven purification process for removal of solids, turbitity and removal of pathogens such as giardia, cryptosporidium, viruses and E. coli
