SOLIDS CONTACT CLARIFIERS

Solid Contacts ClarifiersTonka offers two styles of upflow solids contact clarifiers. They consist of conventional upflow solids contact clarifiers and the Tonka Heli-Cone™. All types are custom designed to meet specifications with respect to rise rate, detention times, sludge collection and removal, and effluent collection.

Solid Contacts ClarifiersConventional basin designs consist of mechanical recirculation and rotating sludge scrapers. The Heli-Cone™ basin is completely hydraulically driven and includes no continuously moving parts.
