Horizontal Pressure Filter and Ion Exchange System Commissioned in Ohio
Tonka Water recently commissioned an iron and manganese removal water treatment plant in Baltimore, Ohio. This system is comprised of an isolated cell horizontal pressure filter followed by an ion exchange softening system. The Tonka Water isolated cell horizontal pressure filter is a prudent equipment option that affords operational flexibility with a compact, efficient footprint. Isolating individual cells within the filters allows a plant operator to backwash or takes one cell off-line while continuing to treat water in the other cells – all the while keeping the plant operating at full capacity.
