Pilot Studies

Designing a system to treat a difficult water source? Are TOC or disinfection byproduct precursors an issue for your plant? Will higher loading rates meet treatment performance criteria? A Tonka Water pilot study can provide the answers you need. Tonka Water pilot capabilities include on-site bench testing, preliminary assessment testing, performance testing, and process equipment simulation. Complete systems can be crated and shipped to be erected on-site. Fully equipped pilot trailers are also available for remote sites or when indoor space is limited.

Tonka Water’s applications engineering department oversees all pilot management. Prior to the start of the pilot study, a comprehensive pilot protocol is developed by Tonka Water and shared with the consulting engineer. One of our experienced professionals then performs the on-site pilot study and collects samples. A complete report from our engineering department is available after receipt of laboratory data. The report includes process recommendations and discussion of process efficiency.
